The video installation consists of a modified flat screen, which is illuminated by
so-called LPS lamps (sodium vapor low pressure).
With their monochromatic yellow light color, these lamps evoke associations with the sunset
sunset and sunrise, and have already been used in the art context by Olafur
Olafur Eliasson for his installation “The Weather Project” in London in 2003.
The screen shows an abstract animation based on the shape of letters.
Due to the high magnification, the letters disintegrate into lines and curves and lose their
their actual meaning.
